The Wanted, is a first class non-profit 501c3 entertainment organization. Its goal is to develop the entertainment opportunities in our community to provide quality entertainment for families and individuals of all ages, while raising funds for other non-profits in the area. Our initial focus is on sports entertainment, focusing our facility around a Frontier League baseball team in Jefferson City, Missouri. We hope to be able to provide the communities of Mid-Missouri with not only first-class family entertainment, but also first-class sports facilities and additional sporting opportunities for the youth of Mid-Missouri.
For the founders of the Wanted, operating a sports organization has been our passion for the past decade. Weve been working with members of the community, city officials, architects, financial analysts and many more on a sustainable economic development initiative for Jefferson City. This economically and financially-viable project will create jobs and revenue for the city and its citizens. The plan? To build a baseball stadium that will serve as not only the home of a Frontier League professional baseball team, but also an entertainment venue to spur economic growth. The Frontier League is ready for Jefferson City to host a professional baseball team.
The Wanted mission is to provide central Missouri with a much-needed family evening entertainment, while raising funds for other organizations in the area. The Wanted is a legally filed 501c(3)sports organization seeking to bring professional baseball to Mid-Missouri through the Frontier League sometime in the foreseeable future. Not only will this bring fun friendly entertainment to the area, but also help others in need. The Board wants to make sure a percentage of profits earned by the organization helps fund youth sports, as well as help fund other non-profits in the area. Our first areas of interests to build and grow would include the Special Olympics, Special Learning Center, and youth sports through the Young Wanted. This will fund up to 15 youth teams in basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and of course baseball. When you visit the stadium whether it’s a game, concert, or event we can ensure a portion of every dollar spent is going toward helping your community grow. There are other areas in the community our Board also will look to help improve in the future.
